None of the games award a speed bonus. Points measure what you found, not how fast you tapped.
The other two games
Same idea, different brain work. Here's what each one asks of you and how it scores.
A new 15 × 15 grid for each day's date, with ten words hidden in it. Words run in eight directions — across, down, both diagonals, and each of those backwards — so swipe from a word's first letter to its last to claim it.
Each word is worth 100 points. Your time is measured on the server from the moment your board opens, so leaving the page open doesn't pause it, and a session left sitting for a long time is ranked on its points alone rather than its clock.
144 tiles, 52 of them vowels, dealt fresh every round. Build words of three letters or more from the tiles still on the board — a tile is spent once it has been used in an accepted word, so the board shrinks as you go.
Points depend only on length: 3 letters = 1, 4 = 2, 5 = 4, 6 = 6, 7 = 10, 8 = 15, and 9 or more = 20. Classic Mode is untimed; Challenge Mode gives you exactly 120 seconds.
Every game is free to play as a guest. Signing in is what files a score to a leaderboard, keeps your streak, banks badges and saves your statistics. List of Words results stay private to your account — that game has no public board.
The Daily Challenge gives you one official round per account per day. Extra rounds that day are practice: they don't change the board and don't bank anything towards your streak.
The Daily Challenge and the Word Search are built from the date, so everyone playing that day gets the same set and a new one is waiting with the next date's puzzle.
